The main function of the role is as capital accountant for the Research and Development, however the focus during the first half of 2009 will be around systems. The fixed asset aspects of the role is to co-ordinate all aspects of asset control, accountability and auditability to ensure that the financial fixed asset register is accurately maintained and reflects reality. The role holder will work with users of assets to ensure that they are effectively managed and that all assets can be accounted for.
