As a principal house it is important for that they carry out our due diligence on their counterparts, which ensures that, they have the ability to meet their obligations. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The credit approval process and money laundering vetting, involves producing a due diligence report for each new counterparty. The company follows a holistic approach to credit, which involves looking at all aspects of a credit approval. Once all the relevant information is collated the details are passed to the credit committee for final determination. The committee's decision is final and the desk is formally notified of this. Of course once a counterpart has been approved for trading it is important that the records of that entity are kept current.  In order to effect this, counterparties are reviewed at designated interval and the results of this are taken back to credit committee.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The mark to market risk is controlled by the in-house credit risk system that monitors interactively our credit lines, security imbalances, country exposure and concentrations. &lt;br /&gt;The credit risk department also produces a daily credit risk report that is sent to senior management identify the company's risk profile for that day. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The candidate would aid in the preparation of either the UK or US ?DCR? daily credit reporting which is a overview of the company's exposures and concentrations which is sent daily to senior management. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The candidate would be responsible for intra day monitoring of the UK or US desks and independently interact with those desk regarding any anomalies, monitoring and reporting of counterparty line usage &amp;amp; security imbalances. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They will send out to senior management the required end of day reporting after all trading has finished &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Counterparty due diligence work on existing clients. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The candidate will collate and analysis and present to credit committee the new accounts. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Special project work and analysis&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Person specification:&lt;br /&gt;Essential Experience of fixed income and equity products&lt;br /&gt;Knowledge of Financial statement and balance sheet spreading..
