Qualifications required: As a minimum you should be a Chartered Engineer, either MIStructE or MICE. A recognised degree in a relevant discipline is also required. 



Experience required: An ability to manage and co-ordinate, from a technical, financial, and programme viewpoint, large projects or a number of smaller schemes.  Technical competence, programme management, and the ability to communicate at all levels is a key requirement. In-depth knowledge of UK design standards and Technical Approval procedures is also of paramount importance. The work is predominantly in the bridges sector.

The role is responsible for a number of sites, entailing carrying out maintenance works, management of Suppliers, inspections, performance management, project work support and such duties as required to ensure a high standard delivery of technical support.
