Currently we are seeking three Engineers/Technicians to work in an expanding market, particularly for one of our newer product ranges  adhesive films used as a laminating layer between layers of glass. This unique product is an EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) thermoset adhesive film with a 3D cross-linking capability which displays excellent transparency and high adhesion strength after the heat curing process. Our product is increasingly applied as an adhesive for photovoltaic modules and for a variety of optical products, and in the areas of exterior/interior architectural and designer glass, e. g. paneling, furniture, fa§ade, tempered and special application / smart glass. Due to its exceptional adhesion strength and high productivity processing possibilities, it provides new alternative methods to laminate glass. In addition to the EVA film, Technical Support Engineers will also work in the areas of Industrial conveyor-belts (used in quarries, mining etc), heavy duty freon hoses, and rubber tracks for construction vehicles. We provide full training in all products. In order to cope with current demand, we are recruiting three Technical staff to join our team located in the Bergstrae region of Germany near Mannheim. 3 Technical Support Engineers or TechniciansTasks:   Visiting clients to collect technical data, and check their existing manufacturing processes  Preparing technical reports based on collected information to detail technical advantages of our company products to companies visitid, for use by the Sales engineers. 			<description><![CDATA[ Technical Support Engineer working within their Technical Department, reporting to the Process Technology Team Leader. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days on, 3days off, Monday to Sunday on a rotating day shift pattern. As Technical Support Engineer, the role will consist of up to 50% process engineering tasks with the balance of the workload being made up of routine tasks. You will be responsible for monitoring plants to ensure they are running at optimal conditions and assisting with the resolution of plant problems. You will also conduct investigations into final product quality issues and implement corrective actions. Within this role, you will review run conditions, manage the effluent pit, prepare monthly figures and collect environmental samples. Process engineering project work and Process Operator training to improve plant reliability and technical knowledge are vital parts of the role. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Applicants must have a Degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related subject and be able to perform relevant calculations involved in process engineering projects. In addition, the candidate will preferably have a background in the chemical industry, ideally in a 24/7 operation. Candidates should be computer literate particularly in the use of Excel spreadsheets with a good level of numeracy to enable data management in the role. The successful candidate will have a methodical and scientific approach to problem solving and knowledge of problem solving in a plant environment would be an advantage. You will have the ability to work well in a team and also be able to work using your own initiative or directed by others. Good communication skills are essential as you will need to communicate technical issues on plant.
