Due to expansion our client is looking to recruit an Account \ Contract Manager in the Leeds area to manage a contract with over 100 branches accross the UK. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Role&lt;br /&gt;The remit of the Account \ Contract Manager role includes:&lt;br /&gt;? Ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded. &lt;br /&gt;? Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of the contract/s are exploited, to deliver increased turnover and profitability, ensure additional services and projects are added, and contracts are re-won on re-tender. &lt;br /&gt;? Development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP (work in progress), debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded. &lt;br /&gt;? Reporting to the Plant Maintenance Manager, the role requires the successful candidate to work as part of a 3 shift plant maintenance operation with the responsibility for the day to day supervision and performance of a team of multi skilled Plant Maintenance Engineers working predominantly on Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machine tools. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The key outputs and deliverables of the role include the following:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&#183;Responsibility for the quality of engineer workmanship/performance in terms of time, quality and accuracy including job feedback  &lt;br /&gt;&#183;Demonstration of good problem solving skills and ability to communicate these skills to a shift team &lt;br /&gt;&#183;Monitoring the quality of the fault and defect analysis processes of the shift team &lt;br /&gt;&#183;Ability to produce concise accurate reports for the supervision team &lt;br /&gt;&#183;Liaison with the Machine Shop management team in terms of production plant and equipment performance issues&lt;br /&gt;&#183;Stock utilisation responsibility for the shift team &lt;br /&gt;&#183;Direct supervision of day to day operations when no Senior Engineer is present on shift&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Qualifications and expertise:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All applicants are required to have the following:&lt;br /&gt;&#183;An ONC/City and Guilds or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering &lt;br /&gt;&#183;Extensive time served in a relevant maintenance engineering background &lt;br /&gt;&#183;Preferably you will have a background in a supervisory position &lt;br /&gt;&#183;A comprehensive understanding of CNC Machine Tool Maintenance techniques and requirements &lt;br /&gt;&#183;Good/intermediate PC literacy&lt;br /&gt;&#183;Although not essential, it is desirable if applicants have the following:&lt;br /&gt;&#183;Previous working knowledge of a range of CNC machine tools to include Mazak machine centres and Citizen and Mori Seiki lathes &lt;br /&gt;&#183;Previous knowledge of cleaning machine and laser marking technology&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Person specification:&lt;br /&gt;The successful applicant will be proactive, self-motivated, and in possession of good organisational skills.
