The Key aims and objectives for the Senior Instrument Designer are to:  Produce all instrument deliverables, typically as listed, from minimal information for construction workpack. LPG Gas and lubricant base oils supply from Europe / USA to Ghana. Following the recent oil discoveries in Ghana, the government of Ghana has been actively encouraging the participation of private Ghanaian investors in the import and distribution of oil products. The Company was granted a bulk oil distribution license in 2006 and have since completed the construction of a $20 million oil storage terminal in Tema, Ghana. The depot has tankage for Gasoline (91 and 95 octane), Kerosene and Gasoil as well as modern truck loading racks. The whole depot is operated using a state-of-the-art computer system. The Company is looking for a Terminal/Oil Depot Manager who is responsible for the smooth operation of truck loading within their terminal at Tema, Ghana and will coordinate, direct, and supervise all activities in the terminals. The Terminal Manager will closely supervise the loading of fuel trucks to avoid damage and will be responsible for keeping equipment in good order and for making sure that working conditions are safe. In addition to dealing with operational matters, the Terminal Manager will handle customer complaints as well as interact with truck drivers and other terminal staff. This position requires someone who has managed similar sophisticated depots elsewhere in Africa and who is skilled in the technical requirements of the role as well as the leadership and motivation of a team. Whilst not essential, some experience in depot design and construction would be useful to assist with the building of new tanks on adjacent land. Qualifications: Preferable - Logistics degree or Project Management qualification or experience. Knowledge &amp; Experience:  Management experience in the operation of petroleum distribution depots in Africa  Flexibility to integrate into a growing private company  Experience with modern computer technology for depot operations  Willingness to train local staff  Project management Skill/Abilities:  Strong leadership abilities  Ability to exercise discretion  Flexibility in relation to working hours.
