Health and Activity Manager our new Health Leaders will work directly with adults in the heart of the community or on site with employees at their place of work. Lets Get Healthy work with Primary Care Trusts, employers and county councils helping adults and children take the first steps to a healthy lifestyle. Your role will be to deliver group based activities which are designed to help reduce health risks and improve adults lifestyle. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate that you have lead groups and already delivered sessions to adults who currently do not participate in any form of physical activity and do not follow a healthy lifestyle. You will be experienced at engaging such groups and be able to work within a dynamic team that travels throughout the UK delivering activity days. Health Leaders will be experienced is delivering and developing sessions for adults that address Lifestyle issues such as:Reducing Obesity Building resilience to stressIncreasing Physical Activity Improving postureIncreasing Healthy eating Smoking Cessation. The candidate will expected to have a depth of knowledge in health and wellbeing and have experienced of engaging groups of adults who have never participated in any form of exercise or Lifestyle Improvements programmes.
