You will be joining a large and well run site and you will be delivering top quality food and service for the staff on site and catering for all hospitality requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational efficiency of the catering services provided and for maintaining a consistently high standard. You will manage a team of 5 employees and catering for over 750 people, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Duties for this role include  Develop, plan and implement a quality, service to the clients specification and company standards, manage any dissatisfaction as per the company's policies and procedures and as required by the client  Manage the procedures and ensure a high standard in food hygiene in accordance with company and client policies and statutory requirements  Develop and maintain professional communication and relationships with individuals at all levels, liaise with key client personnel with regard to services provided and actively encourage feedback, action appropriately  Monitor performance, develop and actively motivate the tea, drive the business forward via company appraisal programme  Financial understanding and fully understand operational budgets and forecasting  Responsible for the effective recruitment of team members, induction into company, client procedures and recording of documentation in line with company procedures This position would suit either a graduate (from Hospitality and Catering) or an Assistant Catering Manager looking for their next step up. The current Catering Manager has received a promotion to a bigger site which shows the role has progression. The salary for this role will be£25,000per annum and will be working Monday - Friday 7:30am - 6:30pm. The role also includes 23 days holiday, pension scheme, medical and health insurance and bonus..
