			<description><![CDATA[ing East Midlands based service organisation, has a challenging requirement for a Head of HR to take overall responsibility for the HR function. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Reporting directly into the Chief Executive, this is a highly influential position whereby you will oversee the HR strategy, co-ordinating a consistent approach across the business. This is a multi-site role with management accountability, the team consisting of 3 Regional HR Managers, 2 Recruitment Administrators and a HR Administrator. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This will be a generalist role, involving key projects including performance management, succession planning and change management. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified with solid HR experience, preferably within a service environment. Achieving substantial like for like sales growth and market share means this is a really exciting place to be. They are currently looking for a Divisional HR Manager to look after their logistics and distribution division. Location: You will ideally be based within an hour of Northampton, however this is flexible due to the multi site nature of the role. It is not anticipated that the successful applicant will be based more than an an hour and a half from the Northampton area. Salary &amp; Package: Up to £65k + Car / Car Allowance + BUPA + Pension + Bonus Job Role - Divisional HR Manager: Reporting to the Head of HR Logistics, as the Divisional HR Manager you will need a strong technical HR background including an excellent knowledge of employee relations and multi-site trade union experience. You will be commercially aware and able to demonstrate a proven track record in delivering proactive value added HR services. You will work closely and build relationships with the Logistics Senior Management Team, the Regional Operations Team and central specialist HR teams to assess business requirements and identify areas of improvement. You will then design project plans aligned to business strategies and objectives before leading the Site Personnel Managers through the planning and implementation process. You will be responsible for a number of large distribution sites across the South. Key Attributes - Divisional HR Manager: - It is essential you have substantial trades union experience - Experience of working in distribution / logistics (ideally within a chill chain environment) - Experience of working across multiple sites (this role will not suit a single site HR person) - CIPD (desirable) - Full Driving License.
